About
Dr. Zoka Afsar is a dedicated internal medicine physician with over 23 years of experience in providing compassionate, comprehensive care. She graduated from Kansas City University of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2000.
For Dr. Afsar, the essence of life lies in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She believes medicine is the most impactful way to serve, combining her passion for caring for people's health with her curiosity about the human body and mind. To her, being a doctor is a true calling—serving others through both compassion and science, and finding purpose in every patient interaction.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Afsar practices daily yoga and meditation, enjoys nature hikes, gardening, and experimenting with Mediterranean cuisine. She finds joy in listening to audiobooks and reading poetry, continually seeking growth and inspiration both inside and outside the clinic.
