About
Dr. Tamanna Karim is a compassionate and dedicated family medicine physician committed to delivering patient-centered care. She earned her medical degree from North East Medical College in 2019, followed by residency training at the Mississippi Medical Education and Research Consortium in 2023 and ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in 2025. She became board-certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine in 2025.
Drawn to medicine by the deep human connection it fosters, Dr. Karim finds fulfillment in supporting patients through vulnerable moments and helping them heal and thrive. Her practice philosophy centers on listening deeply, understanding each patient’s goals and values, and engaging in shared decision-making. She treats every patient with the same compassion, respect, and dignity she would offer her own family.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Karim enjoys reading, spending time with family, exploring new places, and experimenting with different cuisines in the kitchen.
