Sheila Moses Mathew, NP

Sheila Mathew is a board-certified registered nurse practitioner (CRNP) who brings over two decades of expertise to her role as a primary care provider at Holy Cross Health Partners. Specializing in geriatrics, she serves diverse populations, including the geriatric and homebound communities. Mathew earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at Columbia Union College followed by a master’s degree and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Maryland.

Sheila's experience includes diverse roles. In 2004, she became the first Nurse Practitioner to join Holy Cross Hospital's pain management team after gaining extensive experience managing surgical cases on the medical-surgical floor and post-anesthesia care unit. She values collaboration and evidence-based strategies, enhancing patient outcomes.

"As a primary care provider, I find immense fulfillment in serving a diverse population, especially the geriatric and homebound communities," Mathew reflects. "Caring for others is truly the greatest reward." 

 When not at work, Sheila enjoys tennis, running, and family time with her husband, daughter, and Doberman Pinscher.
