Charles Hunter, MD

Charles Hunter, MD, is a distinguished neuroradiologist and interventional radiologist with an accomplished career spanning more than 30 years in academic medicine and hospital leadership. He completed his medical degree at Rush Medical College and a fellowship in Neuroradiology at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.

Dr. Hunter has held numerous leadership roles, including Chair of Diagnostic Radiology at Greater Southeast Community Hospital (now United Medical Center) and Director of Imaging at Kaiser Permanente. His extensive tenure at Howard University Hospital included teaching appointments as Assistant Clinical Professor, mentoring countless residents and medical students.

A member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American Society of Neuroradiology, Dr. Hunter is highly regarded for his diagnostic excellence, mentorship and commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
