About
Attan Kasid, MD, Ph.D., is an expert in internal medicine at Holy Cross Health Partners. In his holistic approach to care, Dr. Kasid considers all aspects of a patient’s health to help them avoid heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and other preventable illnesses.
With over 20 years of medical experience, Dr. Kasid is known for his careful attention to every patient. When asked about his goals as a physician, Dr. Kasid says, “It is my privilege to help others understand and manage their medical challenges so that they may lead happier and healthier lives.”
Dr. Kasid was inspired to become a doctor through his work at the National Cancer Institute, where he researched cancer and gene therapy.
He received his medical degree and training at Georgetown University School of Medicine and the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Kasid loves to travel and hike.
