Adora Chinelo Ilochonwu, MD

Dr. Adora Ilochonwu is a board-certified family medicine physician who is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their healthiest lives. She earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. She has a special interest in children’s and adolescent health, women’s health, obesity medicine/weight management, and preventive care.

Dr. Ilochonwu believes that medicine is more than treating illnesses—it is about building trusted relationships, listening, educating and understanding each patient’s unique story to help them feel their absolute best. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected and empowered to take an active role in their health.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Association of Black Family Medicine Physicians.

In her free time, Dr. Ilochonwu enjoys exploring the world through travel, discovering new cuisines, cooking, all things beauty, health and wellness and making lasting memories with her family and friends.
