Andre A. Boyd Appointed to Two Prominent Leadership Roles
September 2, 2025Silver Spring, MD (September 3, 2025) — Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce that Regional President and CEO Andre A. Boyd, Sr., FACHE, has been appointed to two prominent national and state-level health care leadership roles.
The Maryland Hospital Association (MHA) named Boyd to its Board of Trustees on June 10, 2025, as part of its Fiscal Year 2026 leadership slate. Boyd is one of five new members elected. The board plays a critical role in guiding MHA’s efforts to shape statewide strategies and promote health care in our communities.
In addition, the American Hospital Association (AHA) elected Boyd as an at-large delegate to AHA Regional Policy Board 3. This board meets three times a year. They foster communication between the AHA, its members and state hospital associations, providing input on public policy issues.

As regional president and CEO of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and Holy Cross Health, Boyd provides strategic leadership and directs operations of two distinct Trinity Health markets. One is the region’s largest Catholic health care system serving the Greater Philadelphia area. The other comprises one of the largest hospitals in the state of Maryland.
Boyd has over 20 years of experience leading hospitals and health systems nationwide. Before joining Trinity Health, Boyd held senior executive roles at large health systems across Ohio, North Carolina and Florida. Known for his results-driven leadership, Boyd has consistently improved operational and clinical performance. He has also launched systemwide quality initiatives and elevated patient experience across complex health systems.
Boyd is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a member of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE). Recognized nationally for his executive leadership, Boyd is a recipient of the OnCon Icon Award (Top 50 COOs, 2023) and a Becker’s “75 COOs to Know” honoree (2023). Also, he was the NAHSE Senior Healthcare Executive of the Year recipient in 2019.
