Office Policies

BE INFORMED. BE EMPOWERED.

We believe informed patients experience better care journeys and outcomes. Explore the information below to support your health partnership with us.

  • After Hours Physician

If you are experiencing a health emergency, please call 911.

With our on-call coverage for nights and weekends, you can reach a Holy Cross Health Partners provider whenever health issues arise. Please call the office number, and our answering service will page the on-call provider, who will contact you directly.

  • Insurance Verification and Copays

We ask that you present your insurance card at each visit. All co-payments and past due balances are due and payable at the time of service.

  • Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Should you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice to make the time available for another patient. For those who do not show or fail to cancel without proper notice three times within 18 months, you may be asked to look for a new provider.

  • Prescription Refills

Your MyChart patient portal makes requesting prescription refills easy and quick. Or you may:

Contact your pharmacy and ask that they fax a request to our office.
Call the office and leave a message for your provider.

Please allow three business days to complete refill requests. We will be in touch with you if we have any questions. Otherwise, you may assume the pharmacy has your prescription refill.

  • Test Results

Test results will appear in your MyChart portal as soon as they are received, even before your provider has a chance to review them. Your provider will contact you to discuss any abnormal findings and next steps.

If you are not enrolled in MyChart, you will be informed of test results by mail or a phone call from your provider or his/her clinical assistant. If you do not receive communication about your results in two weeks, please contact our office.

  • Motor Vehicle Accident and Workers Compensation Cases

Holy Cross Health Partners manages motor vehicle accident and workers' injury cases for existing patients only. Please notify our office when your visit is related to a motor vehicle accident or workplace injury. Additionally, you will need to provide our office with the appropriate billing information (insurer, claim number, date of injury, etc.).
