Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic appoints Dia Williams Adams as chief development officer

Newtown Square, Pa. – (August 10, 2026) – Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is pleased to announce the appointment of Dia Williams Adams, MPA, CFRE, CAP, as its new chief development officer, effective today.

In this role, Williams Adams will lead philanthropic strategy across the three-state region’s six hospitals and associated care facilities, overseeing fundraising, donor engagement, foundation operations, planned giving and capital campaign initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership, physicians, board members, donors and community stakeholders, she will help advance the organization’s mission through philanthropic investment that supports exceptional care, innovative clinical programs, education and community outreach.

Williams Adams brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in health care philanthropy and nonprofit development. Most recently, she served as vice president of philanthropy at ChristianaCare Health System in Wilmington, Del., where she led an enterprise fundraising strategy that consistently delivered seven-figure annual results.

As chief development officer, Williams Adams will partner with hospital and foundation leadership to strengthen donor stewardship, identify new philanthropic opportunities and enhance Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic’s culture of giving. She will also work to increase community engagement and support strategic priorities across the region.

Williams Adams earned a bachelor of science degree in liberal studies/business administration from Neumann University in Aston, Pa., and a Master of Public Administration degree from Villanova University in Villanova, Pa. She is a Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy (CAP®), a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) and holds a Certification in Personal Coaching from the Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute. Williams Adams is also a board and committee member of The Community’s Foundation and the Foundation for Delaware County.
