Holy Cross Hospital's Seniors Emergency Center was recently profiled for innovation in patient and family-centered care by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service's Agency for Health Care Research and Quality.

Holy Cross Hospital established the nation's first Seniors Emergency Center in 2008 and it is today a model of geriatric patient care for the country. The Seniors Emergency Center is specially designed for and dedicated to patients 65 and older with non-life threatening emergencies.
