We were honored to have His Eminence Donald Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, visit Holy Cross Hospital on Feb. 4, to bless the new South Building. Cardinal Wuerl warmly greeted staff, visitors, patients and volunteers during his visit and remarked on the friendly, caring spirit he felt while here. He ended his visit with a brief reception held in his honor, during which he presented Holy Cross Health President and CEO Kevin J. Sexton with a medal that was created to commemorate Pope Francis' visit to Washington, DC.
