Exceptional Care: A Tribute to Nurses Montanna Hill and Maria Garcia
"Montanna acted as if my mother was her own. She was patient, gentle, and nurturing. Maria spoke Spanish to my mother, and it made me feel as though she was being heard and advocated for."

My mother was admitted to the emergency room at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital in September. She is 87 years old and not a native English speaker. During this difficult time, I want to praise two nurses, Montanna Hill and Maria Garcia, for their exceptional care.
Montanna also acknowledged me and responded to my questions and concerns. Maria spoke Spanish to my mother, making her feel heard and advocated for. Their consistent attention and care meant a lot to us.
I also want to commend Kevin Burriss and TiAna Brown, who work upfront. They approached us with patience and understanding, treating us as real people.
Thank you for the remarkable care that made a difference during this emotional time.
