The Holy Cross Hospital Emergency Center provides emergency medical treatment to critically ill and seriously injured people. We are committed to employing only the safest, quickest, most advanced life support techniques, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All of our care providers are specially trained in emergency medicine. Our team includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses. Our team also includes patient care technicians who provide assistance to the registered nurses. Holy Cross Hospital also has around-the-clock access to specialty physicians who can assist with a wide range of emergency situations.
We know that visiting an Emergency Center can be stressful. That is why our entire center is designed to make your visit as safe, efficient and comfortable as possible. Our center features three specialized areas to best care for each patient's specific medical needs:
- Our Express Care Center cares for patients with minor injuries and illnesses. Express Care is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to midnight.
- Our Pediatric Emergency Center focuses on children under age 18. Our pediatricians and nurse practitioners specialize in emergency medicine.
- Our Acute Care Center treats patients who have serious, complicated or life-threatening emergency conditions. Patients with heart attacks, strokes, head injuries, major bone fractures or major lacerations are treated here.
For patients who require diagnostic procedures, we are equipped for laboratory tests as well as full medical imaging, including X-rays and CT scans.
The Holy Cross Hospital Emergency Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
