Contributing More than $55 Million to Improve Our Community's Health
As a Catholic, not-for-profit health system, Holy Cross Health embraces its responsibility to reinvest earnings into sustainable community benefit programs, and especially, into safety-net activities to ensure access to health care, regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
The 2014 Community Report showcases Holy Cross Health's leadership in community benefit and our overall accomplishments and operations. In fiscal 2014, through a combination of innovation, planning, partnership, fundraising and a careful stewardship of the resources entrusted to us, Holy Cross Health provided more than $55 million in community benefit, including more than $30 million in free or reduced-cost services to those facing financial barriers to care.
