Holy Cross Hospital is well qualified to serve community members who come to us for stroke care. We have been designated a primary stroke center by the Joint Commission and the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems. And we care for more stroke patients than any other hospital in Montgomery County.
Because every minute counts, our Stroke Response Team is available for stroke evaluation and treatment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The team follows a care process based on evidence to ensure fast and consistent care for each patient who shows signs of stroke.
