Our Multidisciplinary Team
We have assembled a team of experts across a broad range
of disciplines to assess, diagnose and treat disorders of the spine, including
these specialties:
- Orthopedic spinal surgeons and neurosurgeons evaluate
the structure and health of the spine, muscles, discs and nerves
to locate the source of back pain, and perform a wide range of
procedures to treat the full range of spine conditions
- Interventional radiologists specialize in minimally
invasive, targeted treatments performed using imaging guidance
- Pediatric specialists treat spinal problems in children
- Radiologists use numerous diagnostic imaging technologies,
such as CTs, MRIs, X-rays and other studies to detect disorders
of the spine
- Rheumatologists are trained to discover the source
of swelling or pain that may indicate arthritis and other diseases
of the joints, muscles or bones
- Physical therapists help manage back pain through
education and physical therapy, such as exercise, body mechanics
instruction and manual therapy
- Pain management specialists manage back pain using
various therapies or medications
