Lifeline Medical Alert System
Today, more and more people are choosing to stay
in their own homes and maintain their independence as they age
or if they become physically challenged. Holy Cross Hospital’s Lifeline
medical alert system offers you and your loved ones the peace
of mind and comfort of easy access to help when you need it.
Lifeline is
monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by trained professionals.
Once enrolled in the Lifeline service, the phone bank staff keeps your
medical history on-hand to call your friends or family members,
dispatch an ambulance, or call the police to come to your aid.
By wearing your lightweight, waterproof personal help button,
no matter where you are in your home, help will find you when you
press the button.
Lifeline participants include:
- Active seniors who live alone
- New mothers
- Those concerned with personal safety or security
- Patients with
chronic medical conditions
- Those who are physically challenged
- Post-operative patients.

Hi Neighbor
Our Lifeline program provides seniors with an
opportunity to live independently while also providing easy access
to medical assistance at the touch of a button. Many seniors live
alone with no one to remind him or her to wear their help button
or assist them with personal problems. Subscribers to the Hi Neighbor
program receive a phone call once a week to checkup on their personal
health and well-being.

Bereavement Program
Holy Cross Hospital also offers bereavement services and programs
to provide support, compassion and guidance for adults and children
who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Community counseling
services for schools and workplaces as well as educational programs
are also available through this service.
