Our child life specialist will bring a smile to your child’s face. The specialist is trained to care for the developmental, emotional, and social needs of children and helps facilitate trust between the kids and the health care team. The child life specialist uses toys, games, art supplies, video games, and computers from the center’s playroom to engage children in therapeutic and recreational activities.

The playroom is a safe place where no medical procedures are performed. All essential care is provided in the care center’s treatment room. It has the dual function of emergency care area and medical procedure room. By having a separate treatment room, the child’s bedroom area remains another safe place.
