What to do When Labor Begins
Call Your Doctor
Check with your physician to find out when and how you should notify
your physician when labor begins.
Come to the Hospital Lobby
Enter the hospital through the main lobby anytime, day or night.
Stop at the information desk to be directed to the third floor Labor
and Delivery unit. You will use the elevators conveniently located in
the lobby behind the blue tile art wall.
Parking is free when bringing in or picking up a new mom. You may have your ticket validated at the main lobby information desk.
Triage
When you arrive in the Labor and Delivery unit, you will be greeted
at the nursing station and taken into our triage area. One visitor will
be allowed to go with you to Triage. All other visitors will be asked
to wait in the Labor and Delivery waiting area on the third floor.
