Maternity Center
Pre-registration

You can save precious time when you are in labor by pre-registering. We recommend that you pre-register a few months in advance of your expected due date for delivery.

You also may pickup pre-registration forms from your physician’s office, at the time of a Holy Cross Hospital prenatal tour, in the Holy Cross Hospital main lobby or by calling 301.754.7200.

Most insurance plans require pre-authorization for your admission for the delivery of your baby. Check with your employer’s benefits office or insurance company customer service representative to make sure that you have met their notification requirements.

If you are unable to complete the pre-registration forms ahead of time, you and your support person will need to allow extra time to complete the registration process when you arrive at the hospital. Please bring your insurance cards for us to copy.
