Comfort and Support
We understand the importance of family and friends as you prepare to recover from your surgery. Here are a few ways we support your comfort and their involvement.

• The surgeon will discuss your case with you and your family.
• There is a couch in each patient room, ensuring friends and family can be comfortable.
• The hospital has open visiting hours, 24 hour a day, seven days a week, so friends and family can be by your side throughout this process.
• You can order room service meals for yourself and a family member or friend.

Supporting Recovery and Encouraging Independence
Based on a personal assessment, a licensed and registered physical therapist will outline your individualized, recommended physical therapy plan. Your plan is intended to start you on the path toward independence and a healthy and speedy recovery.

Our case managers work closely with your surgeon to be sure you have the care you need when you are discharged from the hospital, whether you are discharged home with home health care or go to a rehabilitation center.

The Holy Cross Hospital Home Health Agency is state-licensed, Medicare-certified and JCAHO accredited, and we have a relationship with rehabilitation centers that have a proven record with the hospital.
