Holy Cross Hospital offers specialized care to those with epilepsy. Under the direction of an epileptologist—a neurologist who specializes in treating epilepsy—our Epilepsy Monitoring Unit is designed for the diagnosis and treatment of seizure disorders. In this unit a core group of neuroscience clinicians assess, monitor and determine the best plan of care and evaluation for patients with epilepsy.
Holy Cross Hospital is the second largest hospital in Maryland and last year provided neuroscience care to more than 1,200 patients.
