Holy Cross Hospital Cancer Institute has been an area leader in adopting new treatments typically seen only at academic centers, such as radiofrequency ablation, which destroys certain inoperable metastatic and benign tumors. The hospital is expanding its use to select liver, kidney, lung and bone tumors.
