The Holy Cross Hospital Cancer Institute’s Lung Care Center provides state-of-the-art screening and advanced treatment. Our multidisciplinary team offers programs to aid in the prevention and early detection of lung cancer.
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women and men because most people do not receive treatment until symptoms occur. The Lung Care Center offers early screening and treatment plans for lung cancer when the disease is most treatable. Our dedicated, research-driven approach offers patients world-class treatment found in academic medicine but with the care and nurturing a community hospital provides.
The Lung Care Center is led by a team of physician specialists including, pulmonologists, medical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and thoracic surgeons and is supported by skilled and compassionate staff. Our physicians work closely with primary care doctors to offer a multidisciplinary approach to care for cancer patients.
Our Lung Care Center nurse navigator guides patients through the complexities of cancer care from prevention and screenings through treatment. She helps answer your questions and coordinate the care you will receive from our multidisciplinary team. Patients at the Holy Cross Hospital Lung Care Center benefit from the collective expertise and support of the area’s medical leaders.
World-class, state-of-the-art lung care begins with the newest technology in CT (computerized technology) scanning to screen for lung cancer.
