Holy Cross Hospital accepts a wide range of health insurances for bariatric
surgery. Most insurance companies cover this procedure. It is best to check
with your individual insurance company as to whether you have the benefit
of gastric bypass surgery.
Kaiser Permanente patients must complete the bariatric
surgery program and a nutrition-focused weight-loss management program
before having bariatric surgery. If you are a Kaiser Permanente patient
who is interested in bariatric surgery, attend
a Holy Cross Hospital informational meeting to learn how to enroll
in the Kaiser Permanente bariatric program in partnership with Holy Cross
Hospital. After attending the informational meeting, you will need a referral
from your Kaiser Permanente primary care physician to enroll in the program.
