The Holy Cross Hospital Ambulatory Care Center offers medical acupuncture services.
In the hands of a well-trained practitioner, acupuncture can decrease pain, stimulate the nervous system ease symptoms of respiratory disease as well as orthopedic, gastrointestinal and neurological disorders.
Acupuncture can be effective as the only treatment used, or it can be given at the same time as other techniques, such as conventional Western medicine, osteopathic or chiropractic adjustments, and homeopathic or naturopathic prescriptions.
Acupuncture treatments are individualized based on a diagnostic evaluation of your condition and a discussion about all of the treatments you are using.
