No Smoking Policy
For your health and the health of others, effective November 15, 2007, Holy Cross Hospital is a tobacco-free facility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the hospital grounds.
Holy Cross Hospital is participating in a regional effort that includes all hospitals in Montgomery County, and Frederick Memorial Hospital. Tobacco use will not be permitted inside hospital buildings, in parking lots or anywhere on the grounds of these facilities. This policy will apply to all patients, visitors, medical staff members, volunteers, vendors, contracted staff and employees of all of these hospitals.
Holy Cross Hospital will offer smoking cessation programs as well as nicotine replacement products for those who request them. Nicotine replacement products will be made available through our pharmacy for patients with a physician’s prescription and for purchase by visitors in our gift shop.Our Facility
