This course provides a unique opportunity to review and understand the latest trends in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, robotic surgery, hysteroscopy and gynecologic oncology. A world-class faculty will provide practical didactic lectures liberally supported with video demonstrations. The focus is hot topics in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery encompassing techniques, indications, efficiencies and effectiveness to help you convert open abdominal surgeries into minimally invasive procedures. All health care providers involved with gynecology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and women’s health are welcome, including gynecologists, gynecologic oncologists and urogynecologists in practice or in training, as well as physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and nurses and technicians involved in gynecologic surgery.
After participating in this activity, attendees will be able to:
- Describe practical techniques and pearls in performing difficult hysterectomy
- Describe tips and tricks for supporting the vaginal cuff
- Discuss the evidence for prophylactic salpingectomy
- Identify the proper operative techniques for single-incision robotic surgery
- Discuss the evidence and solutions for uterine tissue morcellation
- Evaluate challenging cases in hysteroscopy
- Interpret new guidelines for HPV testing
- Discuss with the experts practical techniques and pearls to implement in both traditional and state-of-the-art gynecologic procedures

There is ample parking at the hospital for seminar participants.
