Holy Cross Hospital houses the GATE Institute, a specialized training
center for physicians who perform minimally invasive procedures.
The GATE Institute’s nationally recognized faculty members combine hands-on surgical training with telemedicine and videoconferencing to bring the benefits of minimally invasive surgery to physicians and their patients across the nation. GATE Institute programs offer participants the opportunity to gain expertise in the latest instrumentation and equipment in areas such as OB/GYN, orthopedics, neuroscience and general surgery.
Since its inception nearly 20 years ago, the GATE Institute has trained thousands of physicians and other medical professionals from hospitals all over the country.
