Curriculum
The curriculum recommended by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists is followed. Upon completion of the program, the graduate is eligible for admission to the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

The School of Radiologic Technology at Holy Cross Hospital is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology and Maryland Higher Education Commission.

  • Human Structure and Function (Anatomy and Physiology)

  • Evaluation of Radiographs

  • Radiation Physics
  • Principles of Radiation Biology
  • Medical Ethics and Law
  • Radiographic Film Processing
  • Medical Terminology
  • Radiographic Procedures
  • Principles of Radiation Protection
  • Introduction to Computer Literacy
  • Introduction to Quality Assurance
  • Introduction to PACs

Students must maintain a “C” academic average per quarter to remain in the program. Students must maintain a “B” clinical average per quarter to remain in the program.
