The Holy Cross Hospital Cancer Institute offers access to cutting-edge research and clinical trials. Your participation in a research study may offer the best treatment and care available for your specific diagnosis. Research studies, sometimes called clinical trials, test new treatments or early detection methods in people who have cancer or may be at risk for cancer. These studies also help others by providing valuable information that helps with future cancer prevention and treatment.
Cancer Research Department
The Holy Cross Hospital Cancer Research Department – a division within the Cancer Institute – is dedicated to public education on cancer research studies and enrollment in clinical trials. Our onsite research team includes clinical research nurses, research associates and assistants. We are proud of our participation in the latest in cancer research while maintaining the community feeling of our hospital.
Cancer Institute patients have access to state-of-the-art clinical trials. Holy Cross Hospital initiates cancer studies and participates in research sponsored by others such as the National Cancer Institute, universities or private industry.
Open Clinical Trials
The following clinical trials are open to the general public and basic information on eligibility and how to participate is listed for each clinical trial. Your doctor or cancer care team is the best resource to learn whether there is a clinical trial that would be right for you.
