Dedicated to Improving Our Community's Health
For more than 50 years, Holy Cross Health has been committed to ensuring that all community members have access to quality health care—especially the most vulnerable among us. In fiscal 2015 alone, Holy Cross Health provided more than $61 million in community benefit, including an all-time high of $32 million in free or reduced-cost services to those facing financial barriers to care.
Through decades of service, we have embraced this important responsibility by developing sustainable community benefit programs designed to improve the health of those we serve— regardless of their ability to pay.
To ensure success, we collaborate with like-minded organizations and combine our resources. Each year, Holy Cross Health and our partners provide a host of critical health services — either provided at no cost or supported some of the cost — to meet the changing needs of our community’s men, women and children.
These important community benefit programs are helping to improve the well-being of thousands of area residents by addressing these critical goals:
- Increasing access to quality health services
- Breaking down cultural, financial, geographic and racial barriers to health care
- Developing collaborations with government, social organizations and businesses to help ensure the region’s well-being
- Helping residents become advocates for their own good health
A Tradition of Meeting the Needs of the Community
