Holy Cross Hospital is dedicated to providing interpretation services, and to increasing cultural awareness and sensitivity among healthcare staff.
In recognition of the diversity of the community it serves, Holy Cross Hospital employs a manager of multicultural services whose job is dedicated to interpretation services and cultural awareness and sensitivity within the hospital.
Staff interpreters, more than 190 employee volunteers who speak 65 languages, and trained community volunteers provide foreign-language interpretation services on behalf of our patients, family members, physicians and other staff. Sign Language interpretation also is available.
